Strange colours using Philips 37" TV as PC monitor

Hi everyone.
Excuse if my english is not good, but am sure you will understand me.
I want to use my Philips 37PFL5604D/12 TV as PC monitor via HDMI, but sometimes its just happens to get unnormal picture. The colours are like on the added picture

Its just happens periodically and immediately. Lets say on each 10 minutes. This TV works fine as TV.
No matter whether i use HDMI1 or HDMI2. My video card is Sapphire HD7950, properly installed driver in Windows 8.1. The cable is fine. On my another TV 32" again Philips have no that problem, again with this cable and this comuter. The TV driver is the latest version, we updated him yesterday. The only one way to resolve for a few minutes the problem is to change HDMI1 to HDMI2 and again to change HDMI1 with the remote control, and get normal image for a while.

I was cleaning up my desktop computer over the weekend, uninstalling some unused or unwanted programs and when I rebooted the system, the Gateway screen pops up and said to either press F12 or another command and when I press either, the words Please wait appear at the bottom of the screen and nothing happens. I've unplugged it and left it off for up to 30 minutes and when I turn the CPU back on, same Gateway screen and two choices pop-up with the same result. Running Vista I believe. Can someone get me back to Windows and where I can see my desktop? Thanks!

Computer shuts down while in World Of Tanks

So my dad has been playing WOT for a few years now and recently I helped him build a new computer so we could hand-me-down his older one. I built him a computer with: AMD Athlon II 270 3.4ghz CPU, Biostar A780L3G AM3 MB, 2x4GB Kingston Hyper-X 1600 Ram, Antec VP-450 PSU, Sapphire Radeon HD4850. He has been playing just fine on this setup since November 2013 until the last 2 months. WOT shuts down the computer with no BSOD or minidump/log yet consistently while performing the same action (clicking the battle button or spectating while destroyed) never anything else. This can happen the very first time the computer is turned on or after 10 hours of gameplay later, and even some days it doesn't even happen at all. I have ran Furmark and Prime 95 at the same time to see if the PSU is failing and even after a few hours of maximum power consumption it's still stable. This computer is completely stock no OC or OV at all. CPU reaches 62c with P95 large ffts, and GFX reaches 106c with furmark on 1280/1024 (desktop res 1280/1028/ game res 1024/768) 0 fxAA. WOT doesn't use nearly as much power as running both P95 & Furmark separate or together..What can I do?

Ok, so my daughter got this laptop and as soon as she got it, it was running slow. She thought that it was just a larger computer and so it loaded slower. Then she went to college and had to get a different computer. My laptop was getting worn out and so I decided to pull hers out to use it. It was still running slow. I decided to do a clean install and thought that would fix the problem. It didn't. I can cut the computer on and browse the internet or check e-mail or perform other functions and sometimes it will be fine and then other times it will freeze up and say(not responding) and I will have to wait for a while and then it will unfreeze or I will have to shut the laptop down and restart the laptop. I took it to Best Buy and they ran some kind of scan and said that it was taking to long and they felt like it was a bad hard drive and that it was probably bad out of the box. I have run chkdsk and performed a surface scan and everything appears fine. I would love to hear your thoughts on what might be going on. I do not want to replace the drive unless that is the problem.

Yesterday, I learned the hard way why you don't uninstall a touchpad driver - this forces it to default to the Microsoft inbuilt driver, which has no changeable settings. I traded out unstoppable palm tracking for unstoppable tapping, an even worse problem.

The problem I ran into with my last post was the generic Synaptics driver being unable to install, which I found the culprit for...
Generic drivers by Synaptics aren't digitally unsigned, which forces 64-bit Windows OS'es to prevent them from installing. This is easily solved by disabling driver signature enforcement.

Now, onto the new problem...

As is clearly visible here, even the generic driver has no option for disabling PalmCheck. Why is this odd? Because, according to an Eightforums link, PalmCheck should be under the Pointing tab. I remember that it was on my previous Toshiba laptop.

Keep in mind that the driver shown on the Eightforums topic is the exact same version as mine (v17.0.19), yet it has inconsistent settings.

Hello. I connected my power supply cable first to my shut off the surge protector. Next I connected the cable to the power supply unit. After I made sure both ends were in place, I turned the on switch for my surge protector. However, I realized that I had the PSU on off switch on the on position before I turned on the power on for my surge protector. Did I damage my computer? Thanks

I recently acquired a HP Pavilion all in one pc but there seem to be problems with the touchscreen. It registered touches very intermittently, and not always where I touched. First thing I tried was to calibrate it. But it just wouldn't register certain touches in some of the places it wanted me to press. Nest i Reset everything to factory settings, still not working same probs. Installed all the latest drivers and updates, no joy. But one morning I did turn it on and it worked perfectly. For half a day and then it was up to its old tricks.
Took it to a computer shop and they said it needed a new touchscreen card. Basically I want to know, do these touchscreen sort of devices have a piece of hardware, the card, specifically for touchscreen. or is he blowing smoke up my *** and its some software problem he could fix in ten minutes. He's quoting around £40for the card. And another £20-£30 for the labour. Any help would be much appreciated. If there is a card just for the touchscreen then I could believe him. But ive never heard of a card just for that. Any help would be so much appreciated. Had this around 3 weeks for my daughter to use the touchscreen as shes too young for mouse and keyboard, but she'd like a number of touchscreen games as she's very adept at using touchscreen on her tablet. Thanks and sorry for the long post.

I am having troubles finding the correct cord to use. I have a 2x4 cord that splits in half, but my problem is that only half of the cord matches up with the v12 part next to the cpu. The other half doesn't. The shapes of it won't line up correctly. The cord I'm using is marked CPU but I'm not sure what I should do about the other half.

Problems with Logitech drivers.

Hey guys, so my PC started having frequent crashes. I ran driver verifier and looked at the dump files, did my *extensive* research and I need to remove some Logitech drivers. All the dump files point towards "LGVirHid.sys" from logitech virtual panel, problem is that I've uninstalled everything logitech that I can find (not that I have a bunch of peripherals, just the mouse) and the file still exists in my PC and keeps getting it to crash. What can I do to remove it?

I'm running windows 8.1, a lot of people seem to have issues with logitech and this windows.

Hey guys,

A few days ago, I was about to fall asleep when suddenly my desktop pc turned on by itself. I thought "that's weird" and just turned it back off. Twenty minutes later, it did it again, so I turned it off and this time unplugged the power cord.

The next day, after plugging the power cord back in, my computer would not turn on after pressing the power button. I tried different outlets, different AC cords, I even opened it up to see if maybe the PSU disconnected somehow from the mobo. But no, everything seemed to look fine and snug on the inside.

Do you think it's my power supply? I just recently upgraded it about 6 months ago and I just recently moved apartments so I don't have much money to take it into a shop.

Any suggestions or input would be greatly appreciated.

Im new to this so forgive me if i do something wrong......i have a 2009 lenovo that works just fine with one tv as my monitor but bios is double print on this tv.....the problem i am having everywhere is that the images on facebook, wmp, you tube etc are too dark....ive adjusted the gamma brighness etc and still way too dark.....help

I have a windows 7 desktop 64 bit i believe 4gb ram Apevia tower nvidia geforce 8600 gt(cant get too specific as I cant see anything on pc. )I just plugged the monitor into a laptop and the monitor displays on that, so its definitely the pc not monitor. I was playing dota 2 yesterday fine and wanted to play a game later yesterday night andwhile the computer turned on the monitor keyboard and mouse dont not work. This morning it displayed the log in but that was when I really realized it was the mouse and keyboard, I tried to reset and all 3 dont work again. I was using steam and obs(i kind of think obs broke it) i need some help/guidance

Not sure if it the right forums to post this on but I am looking into purchasing a new gaming rig.

Does anyone recommend a good custom PC builder that they would use to purchase a machine that not too expensive.

I checked a few sites out including cyberpowerpc but their reviews on yelp and consumer affairs are horrible even thought the machine I want isn't too bad in terms of price.

I have an HP notebook running on Windows 8.1
I wanted to check for driver updates so I went to the AMD website
I downloaded an autodetect software and it suggested I download an AMD Catylist Omega 14.12 without dotnet45
I have AMD Radeon HD 8650 + 8600/8700M Dual Graphics with its drivers (presumably up to date)
Should I install that driver? and if yes how do I go about doing it without f***ing up my PC?

I recently bought an radeon r7 240 with 2gb ddr3 and instaled it.After that my pc was working slower and i started having some BSODs which told me to install properly or disable it.So i tried to boot with my chipset ,still the sake. But when i re-installed the video card and i couldnt boot .It was freezing at windows logo or "welcome" screen. I can't boot even in safe mode . So i don't know what to do.
I have an g31 m-7 moyherboard
64bit based windows 7

I want to show my friend a game through a Skype call, but I can't figure out how to merge the two audio inputs from my stereo mix and my headset microphone into one, so my friend can both hear my commentary and the game sound as well. The main roadblock is that my Stereo Mix doesn't pick up the computer sounds if my headset is the default playback device, but I want to hear sound through my headset instead of my desktop speakers. I would appreciate some live help through Teamviewer or Skype to help me get this resolved.

hello guys, i just wonder if this specs shown here in this thread can drive, after effects and video-copilot and other video editing software running smoothly?

actually i don't rely only at specs, i would also put some utility software to enhance more this type of computer.
